Our new Place......

This is a wonderful day at the beach. It has actually become our Sunday tradition. Before the girls go to bed we take a walk along the boardwalk. Aislynn walks and Bailey rides. Aislynn likes to push Bailey. Mostly she likes the social side of things. She waves and smiles and says hi to all of the rich Florida people..... They love it though
This was our place the first day we were here. For two weeks no furniture or anything.... We just camped out on our tile floor. I kept the girls entertained though with books and games. It's also nice enough to go walking and playing outside.
The Bishop was nice enough to lend us some things, including this camping blanket. This became the play area as it was nice and soft. The girls loved this sleeping bag. They could actually roll around on it and not knock themselves out.
This is after a Saturday at the beach. Tired girls. It's great for mom and dad though, they are tuckered out and ready for bed.
Big room for little babies to get into lots of trouble. Bailey likes to try and crawl as fast as she can, sometimes slipping. Aislynn likes to push things around on the floor. Of course now that we have our furniture it isn't this bare. More pictures of the house to come. We are glad that we are here and getting settled. The girls of course love that fact that everyday is a play day to go outside and crawl and walk everywhere.

Merry Christmas from Florida!!!!!

Well, here is some of our house. As you can see we still have some boxes. We are trying to clean out the garage and put stuff in plastic as there is lots of humidity which leads to mold. This area is the girls play area. We put carpet down for them here, it's nice and comfy. The Christmas tree is on the left. The entire house is tile which makes for great bumps and bruises for the girls. We like it though, it's a very cute house..
Bailey was still trying to wake up. They were spoiled by Santa and Aunt's and Uncles. No coal for them. Dad played the pass the presents Santa. Mom took pictures.
Here is what it looked like before the destruction of two toddlers came through. All of those presents are for the girls. Oh except the awesome manly man tool set that I got Adam, and the snorkel set that he got for me!!
Here they are in two of the outfits Santa brought them. Notice that they are not covered up in turtle necks and sweats or jeans!!! That would be because it's a nice 75 degrees here. This is considered winter wear here. They are both so adorable!!!! They are getting so big.
This picture is a little blurry, but this a chair we got them. When they sit in it it sings and says the alphabet. Bailey has decided that this is her throne and she will sit here and not let Aislynn get on it. Yes, it turns out to a full out scratching and biting match. Ohh, they do love eachother though. We had a great Christmas and were so blessed to share it with our two beautiful daughters. We missed all of our wonderful friends and family though. We have loved it here in Florida. Adam loves his job. They are very good to him. He has a lot of responsibility and a lot of oppurtunity for growth. He is still a wonderful dad when he is home and we miss him when he is gone. I am at home with our girls and loving it. They make me laugh everyday and teach me so much humility as only children can. We love our cute home. We have a great back yard and lovely weather to walk and play outside. Our neighborhood is wonderful and so are our neighbors. We have taken so many pictures so now that things are settling in I will post again everyday, but don't hold me to that. Sometimes I get side tracked(ha ha). We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Christmas. Stay tuned for more of "The Bingham's in Florida"........

Butt what??

I mean come on, what isn't cute about a babies butt?? I love these pictures. This is the only time in life you can get away with having lots of rolls!!! You can obviously tell who's who in this picture.
This is the scene every bath time. They love to be butt naked and watching the water fill up the tub. They scream with joy and play with the water. There doesn't even need to be toys. Awww the simple pleasures of life.
Aislynn and Bailey love story time. Aislynn loves to sit in Bailey's lap and read to her. She will point to all the pictures and say the words she knows. Bailey loves it as you can tell.
This is the best toy ever!!!! It is a moving box. Bailey played with it all morning. She would go in and out. Then she would grab a toy and pull it in then out. They she would stand up and push it across the floor. I should invest in more of these.

Aislynn is quite the shopper. She loves to grab all the bags after we get home and carry them around like purses. She will hide her toys in them and then stuff them in various cabinets or toilets. Which ever is accesible at the moment. We have lost our remote for the DVD player and fear that it got thrown away.

This will be my last post for a couple of weeks. We are moving on Saturday. We won't be getting our stuff from the moving van for a week, so please bare with us. Things are very hectic but I am sure that we will love Florida. To all of our friends and family we will miss you terribly. Please call or email. Come and visit if your every on the east coast!!!!!!

Precious Moments

Yes, we are starting our kids out early on the "caffeine free mountain dew". Just kidding. Aislynn loves to get into the cupboard and pretend she is drinking soda. Bad habits already starting.
Aislynn and Bailey love giving kisses to eachother. If Bailey doesn't want to give kisses Aislynn will take her face and force her too. We tried to make it a fun thing, but of course it's kissing toddler style, which can be dangerous.
Just thought I would add this cute picture of Aislynn the day we picked her up from LDS family services. Time certainly does fly with kids. She is getting so big. We love her so much. Both our kids add so much to our lives.
Aislynn loves mommy's shoes. Her favorite thing is to try them on and try to walk in them. Most of the time it just ends in frustration.
Daddy and daughter. They both love their dad. It's so nice. He is a wonderful daddy.

Happy Halloween Part 2

Here is the cute duo. Aislynn is guarding her Lion sister from the evil trick or treaters. I know it should be the other way around. Maybe Bailey needs to go visit the wizard for some courage!!!
Aislynn is strutting her stuff. She loved her wings. She kept making sure they were still on her. We had to take them off to put her in her carseat, and boy did we have to pay for that. She wouldn't have it. Little fairies can have big attitudes sometimes.
Over at Aunt Nic and Uncle Dave's house. More great cousins to spend Halloween with. They love their cousins. It will be sad when we move.
Can you tell the cowardly lion is sleepy??? It was toward the end of the night and they both had just had it. They were so good though.
Big smiles!!!!! Aislynn loves her daddy!!!!! They are both big hams!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!! We had a great Halloween. As you can see from the photos, Aislynn was a fairy with her pink pajamas underneath. It was a pretty chilly night here. Bailey was the guardian lion of the fairy princess. She was nice and toasty warm. It was pretty hard for her to get around because she is quite the chunky monkey, or should I say Lion.
We went out Trick or Treating with the cousins. It was lots of fun. Aislynn and Bailey don't eat candy yet but everyone wanted to give them some. They were able to see all of the fun costumes and see the cousins get all the fun candy. They did get some twinkies though. Everyone loves twinkies. Aislynn wanted to put on Aunt Tiff's wig so we let her and she sat in her high chair eating her food petting her head and saying "pretty". I am sure she will love these pictures when she gets older. She kept going cross eyed trying to look at her hair. Bailey just ooo'ed and awed over all the fun people in the neighborhood. She loves people watching, especially when they are all dressed up and are funny looking. After trick or treating we went over to Aunt Nic's and Uncle Dave's and took some cute pictures, but that will be for the next blog. There will be a part two. I can't post a lot of pics on this blog, it doesn't let me. For all of those who are waiting for the news, we are moving to Florida. We leave on the 26th of November. It is fast a coming, so lots to do to prepare. I realized as we were walking down the street though last night that my girls won't know what cool nights are with leaves crunching and beautiful fall colors. They will know what a beach is with sand and of course, hurricanes. Well, we love you all, don't eat too much candy.

A Little Bit behind

Well, it has taken me a long time to post, so sorry. It has been quite the busy month. Adam had a job interview in Florida. Yes, I did say Florida. So, they paid for him and I both to fly out, they paid for hotel, rental car it was nice. We left our two babies behind. A lot harder for mom than dad to do. In the hotel I kept waking up thinking that I had heard phantom babies crying in the night. I would also whisper in the hotel room trying not to wake the phantom babies. Adam kept having to remind me that our babies were not with us, and that I could talk as loud as I wanted too. I even tried to persuade Adam that I would stay with the babies while he went out and ran some errands in Florida. I guess it's hard to get your mind off of mommyhood and on to "I have no babies with me right now" mode. We did have a good time. We saw the beautiful ocean, and we felt the hot humid weather. The good thing was I didn't even have to put on lotion the whole time I was there. The company is a very nice company that Adam would be working for if he got the job. The have basically offered him the job, it's just a matter of if the salary is to our liking. Well, I shouldn't even say that, it's if the salary is to our being able to be comfortable. We were supposed to get an offer last week, but Wilma came through and slammed right into West Palm Beach, and right into Adam's office. The office is okay, it's just they aren't expecting power for another two weeks. So they are supposed to be fed exing his offer, and we should get it today. I promise I will post some pictures hopefully tonight. We will also be calling most of you to tell you the news of his offer. We will keep you posted.........

More Fall

Well, what can I say, is this a beautiful season or what?? The girls loved the leaves and got quite dirty but, it was worth it. We tried to get some cute pictures of them on the ground sitting together, but there was just to many interesting things around them. What a beautiful day!!! One of the things I loved most when I was a kid was driving up into the mountains with my family. I loved the change of seasons. Hopefully are kids will have the same love of nature as their parents do. It's so much more fun with kids!!! Their curiosity really is amazing. Well enjoy the pictures!!!! If you haven't yet, go up in the mountains and enjoy this beautiful time of year.

Fall is Here!

Well, Fall is here. I must say that Fall is my favorite season. I am not sure why. Well, that's not true. I know why. There is a certain smell that comes with Fall. It's a crisp clean smell. It is a very cleansing smell for me. I love that crisp chill in the air. I love wearing sweaters and taking long walks and just barely being able to see my breath as we walk. I love the sound. I love the quiet the comes with fall. The leaves that fall and before they fall, the beautiful vibrant colors that they portray. If I could I would use all those colors and decorate my house. I love Halloween and children dressed up in costumes. I love the warmth of my house, and the candles that I burn that smell like pumpkin spice and cloves. I love making warm wholesome chunky stews and soups. I love rosy cheeked babies with warm bodies and cool cheeks. I love having cold feet and a cold nose and snuggling in a warm bed with my hubby. I love going up to the mountains and having the sound of leaves crunch under my feet. I love having parties and friends and the general feeling of love and family around. Most of all I love spending these precious beautiful days with my family and friends!!!!

And She's Off!!!!!

It's about time! She finally decided that maybe crawling wasn't the "in" mode of transportation anymore. So, she decided to test those short little legs out and walk. She did pretty good all things considered. Of course mom and dad are just glad she is walking.
We can't be satisfied with walking, no, we have to try on dad's shoes which make it twice as hard to walk. Can we say frustrated??
Already the domestic diva. Apparently dad did not mop the floor to her liking. "Out damned spot!" Boy are we in for it.
No, this is how you do it. Now that she is walking, cleaning just is her thing. It just came naturally. Let's hope this trend continues on into her teens.
Yes she is off and running. Sometimes a little to fast for her feet to keep up with. She thinks she is pretty hot stuff. She stills takes a few falls, she kind of looks like a drunken sailor, but she is walking.

Yes, we are the proud parents of a walker!!! Took long enough but she has decided to do it. We knew she had it in her. It just needed to be coaxed out by some granola and a puppet. Oh the games we play to bribe our children. Well, the walking still hasn't been quite perfected but give it a couple of weeks and she will be able to climb over anything. Most of all her sissy.

Bailey's Birthday !!!!!

Delicious!!! Of course if you can't tell by my face, when the pieces are to little to pick up, I just do like the dogs and lick my tray clean!!! In the nose or in the mouth I must say this is a great treat!!!!!
I am not so sure about this. It doesn't look like anything that I have ever eaten before. I need to poke several holes in it with my fingers just to make sure it's okay to eat.
My birthday cake that was frosted in like two seconds!!! Of course it tasted great just the same. Carrot cake is mom's favorite so of course it's mine too!!
Of course every girl needs a phone. Especially one that has interchangeable face plates, I mean come on. Obviously too much fun for a one year old. You can see here her other cousins think so as well. Maybe they can call eachother?
Beautiful sweater just perfect for fall!!!! It's so nice that even Mommy doesn't want to get it dirty. Oh well you only get to wear it for so long. Beautiful dress to go with the sweater!!! Bill and Don have such great taste. Why is it that I like baby clothes styles more that adult styles. I guess you can only have rolls and look cute at a certain age!!!!
Can you see that she had quite the birthday party. Lots of family and friends. I am so glad that we live so close to all of her little cousins. She is definately not lacking in the love department. Her cousin Phoebe is holding her in the background. Phoebe loves her and is so good with her.

Well, Bailey's birthday party was a smashing success!!!. I mean really I know she will never remember it. It's more for me than anything. It's more of a celebration for me. I can't believe I have a one year old. I can't believe that I have two children that are now over one. Wow!!! I can't believe that I have been able to survive one whole year with two babies!!. Now of course they are considered toddlers. It really has been easy though. I was blessed with two very good kids. I wondered when Bailey was born, as I sat there and held her when she was only hours old, what kind of personality would she have? What temperament would she have? What would she need from me other than normal feedings, change of clothes and lots of cuddles. Would she be like her older sister? Would she be completely different? Would she know we loved her? Could I make each of my babies know that I loved them? Could I hold them enough? These are all typical questions I am sure of all new mothers. Though my children are not grown, and I have yet to see their full personalities(by that I mean backtalking and pushing my buttons) they are just who I thought they would be. They are my Aislynn and my Bailey.
