Santa Claus is coming to town....

Well our ward had a Christmas Party. It was very fun, Adam got to sing and the Primary kids did a Nativity scene, which is always my favorite. However at the end good ole Santa showed up with Mrs. Claus. Aislynn was so excited she was screaming, "Santa, Santa here I am". So finally when it was their turn she got to sit on his lap and he sang to her. He had a goodie bag for them, and Aislynn was in heaven. On the hand, Bailey did not like Santa. She wanted to get down right away, and she kept holding out her hands for Mrs Claus. SO Mrs. Claus kept Bailey and Aislynn got Santa all to herself, which of course is what she wanted. There was great food and yummy desserts. The girls got to see all of their friends from nursery and run around like little monkeys. It was a great night. There is a place close to where we live that is called "City Place". It's an outside Mall. Its really beautiful, there are more pics that we took that I will post later, but this huge Christmas tree was put up right in the middle of the plaza. Bailey loves Christmas Trees and will scream with delight and say "Look Mom, a beautiful Christmas Tree". We had a great time here too, and the girls loved the freedom of looking and walking around. We are having a good time this Christmas. The girls love all of the lights on the houses and all of the decorations. It's so fun to drive around at night through the neighborhoods and see the lights. Of course if someone has put out a Mickey Mouse Santa or Winnie the Pooh, they score extra points with my kids. They are both getting so big, but what a great age. It brings me back to the simple things of life. I think that is one of the reasons I love Christmas so much. I remember how I loved the lights, and still do. I loved going around singing carols with my family and having a tree with lights in our own house. I felt like it was a magical time. I hope my children will feel the same way. We will post more pics soon. WE hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday season.

An Exciting Time

Bailey had decided that she loves sandwiches. Not just any sandwich though, she loves to dip her sandwiches in dip preferable aux ju sauce(beef broth). She thinks that this is just the ultimate. I can never get a bite of my food because all I here is "mom, I need more, some more mom".
Now that we are all moved in to our new home we had a wonderful visit from my sister in law(Adam's sister) and her fiance Shawn or Shaun. I am not sure how to spell it and I couldn't get a hold of Denielle to ask her. So sorry Shawn or Shaun. They are so cute together and he is such a wonderful person. He loved our girls and played with them and gave them so much attention. They thought he was so great and were very good at giving them both hugs and kisses.

We had them here for only one day and a night but it was such a great visit. We haven't seen any family since March and so this was so special for us. We got a long so well with him. I am so glad that he is going to be in our family. He fits right in. They are perfect for eachother. We are looking forward to going to their wedding in January.
As far as the house goes we are moved in. We still have a few things to unpack, but we are completely out of the old house and it is cleaned and now we are here. Thanksgiving was a good day. It was just our little family. I cooked a turkey breast and all the trimmings. The four of us ate Thanksgiving dinner together and it reminded us of all the things we are so incredibly thankful for. We missed our family and our friends, but luckily we have all of the memories of great Thanksgivings past and now we are creating new ones with our own little family. We unpacked some that day and the weather was beautiful. The girls were able to play in the back yard and have fun. It was a good day. We are doing well. We love our callings and love our children. They make me laugh everyday. My pregnancy is going very well, pretty uneventful. I am greatful for that. I do have to say though that it was so nice to talk to family on Thanksgiving. I feel very blessed to have my wonderful little family here, and my awesome family out there. We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. We will post some pics of the new place as soon as everything gets unpacked and in place....

Moving!!!

Okay, so we are moving, again!!! Hopefully we will stay in this new place a little longer because I am tired of moving. Moving once a year is not a fun thing. We are staying in West Palm Beach, just moving further south. It will be closer to a lot of things. I may not post for a while though until we get everything set up in our new place. The date of the move is this coming Wednesday. Right now we are busy packing and trying to move little stuff. I can't help lift, so my job is packing. It usually happens at night when the kiddos are sleeping. We will post new pictures of the new place. I am looking forward to the new house and the holidays. We are doing great. We just got over the stomach flu. It's been a sick month at our house. I still intend on cooking all the good food for Thanksgiving. I love the holidays, but they can also make me miss all of our friends and family. We love everyone and will post again as soon as we can!!!!

Pictures of Baby Number 3

So, we went in for an ultrasound yesterday. Currently I am about 11 weeks along. I really didn't expect to see very much, but I have to admit I was amazed. Adam came along and both the girls. We waited for over an hour in the waiting room, and then were finally called back. By this time the girls were very irrated and cranky. They did very well considering. The baby actually looked like a baby. He was even moving around and swimming. We were so excited. The tech kept letting us see him move around and even she thought it was pretty funny. We kept telling Aislynn and Bailey to look and see the baby, but they were not interested at all. We don't know the sex but for now he will be a he. If it is a girl, we will apologize to her when she gets older. Heaven forbid she holds a grudge that starts in the womb. He is very active and healthy so far. We will keep everyone posted on any upcoming events. I need to post Halloween pictures. That will be for another day.

Some news!!

Okay, so I really haven't taken any pictures of the girls lately. We did do a ward trunk or treat, but we forgot our camera, so I will have to wait till my good friend Cori sends them to me. The girls of course are growing like weeds. Right now Aislynn is sick with a cold and Bailey woke up this morning covered in throw up!! It's one of those things as a mother you just love to wake up too. I think she threw up half her body weight. She didn't wake up though, she must have puked and then went back to sleep because most of it was all dry this morning. She is running a slight fever and you can tell she doesn't feel all herself. We will be moving out of this house and into another one on the 15th of November. We will be paying much cheaper rent, and hopefully will be able to pay off debt save money and buy a home. Of course with prices here still at 400,000 who knows when that will be. We are excited for the move, it gets us closer to the church and closer to friends. We will have a big back yard fenced in for the girls and a nice place to live. Of course this place is great too, just really expensive. On to other news. We are pregnant!!! We have know for quite a while now, but haven't really expressed it to the world as the first little while is so touch and go. I am ten weeks along, and feel really good. I wasn't sick with Bailey and this one proves to be much of the same. I hate chicken, don't even want to go near it or smell it. I am tired of course, but thats normal even not pregnant with two toddlers running around everywhere. Our official due date is May 23rd, it will be a C-section again probably taken a week early. We feel very blessed to add another little spirit into our home. I am still the first counselor in the Primary Presidency. Adam is in the Elders Quorum presidency. Aislynn and Bailey are still in nursery and love every minute of it. We are really blessed to have such great Nursery leaders in our ward who even prepare a lesson for these sweet little spirits to semi listen to. They are both getting so big and so independant. They amaze me every day. We love and miss all of our family and friends, and I promise I will post some pictures soon.!!!

Strike a Pose!!!!

Here is Aislynn in all her glory. She decided she didn't want to wear clothes this day. She took them off everytime mom tried to put them on. She loves to be naked, it's a good thing she still has her diaper on. Most of the time that comes off too. She loves the diaper boxes that is for sure. Her and Bailey could play in it for hours. They will bring all their babies, and toys and play in it.
This is after church. Aislynn has figured out that she can take this little stool anywhere and get into anything!! Needless to say mom has had to put the stool up where little hands can't reach!!
She put on one of daddy's shirts and that she was so cute. She loves putting on our clothes. It's like dress up for her. Such a little diva.
This is her with her Princess nightgown on and daddy's socks. No outfit is complete without daddy's socks.
This is Bailey just up from a nap. Gotta love that wild hair. This is how it looks most mornings and afternoons. There is no taming it. Such cute poses my little cuties make. I love taking their pictures.

My beautiful Girls!!

These are just random pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks of these beautiful girls. They are getting so big!!! They are so adorable. I love these pictures. They really show their cute personalities. Not really a lot to write about, but I thought these were great pictures. I really like the impromptu photos. I hope everyone enjoys these. I know I do. I love looking at their pictures. Of course I am the mamma, and of course I think my little girls are the most beautiful little girls ever!!!

Finally a post!!! Bailey's birthday

Alright, so here is Bailey's birthday party. I will have to post more pictures, but I can only post so many at a time. Here she is eating her birthday cake. At first she was eating it with her fork, and then she realized something.......
the frosting is so yummy, why not just eat it with a big old spatula. She was sucking it down. She loved her cake. She had a care bear birthday party. It was her choice between a Winnie the Pooh party and a care bear party. She chose CARE BEARS MAMMA!!!!
This is her waiting for all of her friends to come over. She knew something was up as we were decorating and getting things ready. Of course we kept saying "Happy Birthday Bailey"!!! We would sing to her, and she loved it.
Here are just some of the decorations. She had lots more presents and fun stuff. It was a great birthday party for her. Her friends came and she was happy!!
She loved opening her presents and was very good at it. This time she was more interested in what was inside than the actual wrapping paper. Gone are those days. She is now two. I can't believe it. Both of my little girls are two. As I looked at her playing with everyone and playing with her sister, it's so amazing how fast time does go. They do grow up way too fast. They are both at very cute ages, very stubborn, very two, but cute ages. Their personalities are just adorable. They are so different, but they compliment eachother and our family. Things are good here in Florida. It hasn't cooled down yet, according to the natives they can tell it's fall. How they can tell I have no clue. It's still 89 degrees. The leaves aren't changing colors. There is no crispness in the air. There is a slight breeze though, maybe that's what it is. We love all of you!!! We miss you mucho. Thank you for all of our friends and family who keep in touch with us. We live for your phone calls and emails and blogs!!!

Happy Labor Day!!

SO, Aislynn and Bailey love to play dress ups. There are some clothes that my mom was given that are too big for them, but that doesn't stop them from playing dress ups. In this wonderful ensemble, Aislynn has on a princess nightgown with a sun hat that belonged to Aunt Tiff. No toddler is complete without the sun hat.
For Labor Day we decided to go on a little adventure. There is a place in Orlando called Wakiwa Springs. It is actually water that comes up from a huge crevace in the bottom of this pool. The water was actually pretty chilly. It felt great though after a hot day in the sun. It fills up pretty quick with people so you have to try and make it in by 10:00 in the morning or you could be turned away. It takes us about 2 and a half hours to get there. It was well worth it though. The girls loved it.
Here is my goofy Bailey. She loves to get her picture taken. She is such a little ham. She will pose whenever she see it. She will say "mamma take my picture, CHEESSEEEE".
This is Aislynn in her linebacker swimsuit. It has floaties built into it. They can be removed as she learns to swim better. She looks like a football player though. Isn't she adorable??
Here we are at Wakiwa Springs. We were all hot and tired. The babies fell asleep in the car. We had to get back because we were feeding the missionaries for dinner that night. It was lots of fun. We love to do our little family outings. I am so glad that I have a husband who likes to them too. I hope our girls can grow up and remember all the fun things that we did as a family. Some of my most memorable times with my family were spent camping and doing road trips. I loved it. The weather has been rainy, but it's still beautiful. It's humid and muggy. I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day. We missed all of our friends and family. Labor Day was always a family day. Please know you were all in our hearts that day!! We love you

Crash and Burnesto(Ernesto)

Okay, so as most of you know, Ernesto was a very wimpy storm. We are greatful that there wasn't any damage. However after all the time you spend putting up storm shutters and getting gas and standing in long lines for water, you wish that maybe there was a little"something". This is the back of our house with the storm shutters up. It was a very hot and humid day, and we spent most of it getting the shutters up.
This was the day of the storm. We decided to go to the beach and just take some pictures of Ernesto and all his glory. As you can see the beach was pretty windy but it was beautiful. It was funny to see people walking around and carrying on with everyday life, even though we were in the middle of a tropical storm turned tropical depression.
Another beach view. You can see the palm trees bending from the wind.
Here was our house the night before. Storm shutters up and parking cars in the garage.
We had storm shutters for all the windows but one, and that was our bedroom window. So we did they plywood thing. Adam got off at 1:00 because his office shut down to let everyone get ready for Ernesto. All things considered everything went fine. We were glad that we were prepared. We have a generator and food and flashlights and everything. It was nice to feel prepared. We may get lucky and not see one for the rest of hurricane season. We will see. I will tell you one thing though, I am so glad to be a member of the church. Our ward was so prepared. The Elders Quorum had a call down list to call everyone to make sure they were prepared, and it felt so nice to be a part of something so awesome. Everyone takes care of each other. Well, we hope our family in the North East will be okay. Ernesto is heading for you. Thank you for all of our friends and family who called to make sure we were okay...

Look Mamma Turtles!!

Since my daughters both love "Finding Nemo", they also love sea turtles. It maybe that the character "Crush" is so loveable, or that they are just fascinating creatures, either way they love them. We decided to take them to a Marine Life Center in Juno Beach. Here they take sick or damaged sea turtles and rehabilate them. It is actually quite a remarkable place. They also go and look on the beach when it is nesting season to make sure that the little baby sea turtles have the best chance possible of survival. Here are some below.
Both girls loved this place. Everything was "look mamma turtles" or "look mamma Nemo". They had an aquariam with Nemo and Dory in it. They loved the babies and the bigger ones.
It was hard to not want to let them jump into the big pool. They just wanted to go swimming with the sea turtles you know. Of course they are probably not as nice as "Crush". It was such a great day though. We bought the girls little stuffed turtles. They love them so much. They have to put diapers on them and everything. Actually it's the little swimmer diapers that the turtles have to wear. I mean come on, we all now you can't go swimming without the little swimmer diapers.
This was after a day at the beach. As you can see Aislynn is getting darker. Of course we lather them up all day long, but it looks like her skin is a darker shade of Ivory. Bailey of course is just plain dark. They were so cute taking their baths together. I love bath time!!
This is our next door neighbors little girl. Her name is Star. They actually adopted her, and then unfortunately she was taken away as the biological father decided he wanted her. So, they get to get her on weekends sometimes. It's a tough situation. It makes me ache for them. They are such wonderful people and Star is such a beautiful little girl. She came over for a couple of hours and played with my girls. Bailey loved her. I think she thought she was like a dog. She waited on her hand and foot, and made sure she had plenty of toys all the time. She was such a good baby.

If your happy and you know it

So, this is kind of a review of our last trip. As you can see here is some good ole Florida swamp. Doesn't it just look like a place where alligators would hide out?? It is actually very beautiful.
Aislynn and Bailey both have decided that they love to take every single one of their clothes out of the drawers and put them on wherever they will go. In this lovely ensemble, Aislynn has sweat pants on her ankles and dress bottoms on her head, and a corduroy dress. Bailey has on a lovely swim cover up.
This is Kyla. She is one of the girls best friends. We were having a presidency meeting over at our house for Primary and she decided to do finger paint art with her pudding. She is so talented. Needless to say she was very quiet and quite enjoyed herself. She is such a cutie!!
This is the boardwalk that goes around the park that we went to. It is beautiful and very peaceful. It is also very hot and swampy!!! We had lots of fun though.
Bailey just woke up from her nap in this picture. She always has a smile!! She has her messy hair her still half asleep face on. Our girls are so cute!!!

Family Fun!

Aww yes we have an alligator. Adam and I decided to take the girls to the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Reserve. It's not that far away from our home and we thoroughly believe in going to the hottest, muggiest, sweatiest places during the hottest part of the summer. We believe in torture! So anyway you will be able to find lots of alligators here in their natural environment. Still a little to close for my comfort, but hey I have to admit they are very beautiful. Here is one, resting comfortable under a bridge. He didn't even move as we were taking pictures. He is obviously a pro by now. In fact one couple thought he was fake and put there just for photo purposes.

Notice anything funny about this boat?? If you said"there is no driver" you are correct. While we were enjoying the alligators, some guy decided that he could unload his boat and drive his car back up to the parking lot without it going anywhere. WRONG!! The boat floated out to river, and of course he wasn't going to go swim to it in alligator invested water. So Adam ended up getting into a canoe and boating him out there!!!
More wildlife!!! Please Mr. Birdie don't get eaten by Mr. Alligator
Cheese!!!
Here we are on the boardwalk that goes all around the park. It was so hot!! We had to bring a towel as we were getting drenched by the sweat!! The girls had nice rosie cheeks. The boardwalk is actually on top of the swamp. Hence the reason the girls are in the strollers. I thought it wise. I didn't want them to become alligator food. We did have a good time though. Aislynn is looking at the wildlife paper. She is such an avid reader!!!

You are so silly!

In my previous blogs I have mentioned how much fun we have at our house during the day. Usually it is just us girls as daddy has to work. We play dress ups, and monsters, we love to play tea party and mommy loves to let them both play beauty parlor on her. They have made some of the most marvelous hair do's on me. Here is Bailey showing off her beautiful dress up hat. She will often remind me to get the camera"Picture mama".
Here we are getting ready for some fun in the sun!!! Daddy is slathering on the sunscreen. Bailey already had her turn so she is ready to go!!! Aislynn is getting the whole body treatment. We have worked this whole routine into an art!
Both girls love to put things on. Whether it be socks, pants, goggles. This is the first way Aislynn decided to put on the goggles. Nevermind the fact that it is digging into her eye. She loves it. SO I told her how to put them on correctly, and they didn't come off for almost an hour. I love this age. Who ever thought that a thirty year old would love dress ups!!
They love to pretend they are in jail and then scream for me "Mama we are stuck, help mama" and then when I come in they laugh and think it is so funny. Somehow this scares me for when they get older. What other pranks will they pull on me together? Their little minds are so smart, and they help eachother so much. What will the future hold for me and their little tricks? I love it though.
Here is Aislynn with her goggles and umbrella and some vicks chest medicine. She is prepared! Do not let it be said that we did not teach her about emergency preparedness! I love my girls.. How exciting my life is everyday because of them.
