Tis the Season

Okay, sorry for the lack of posts lately but things have been really busy. Our new home closes on the 27th of this month and we have the walk through on the 20th. So, we are moving again. I think that is a record. I do not want to move again for a very long time!! I am so excited though to have our own home. Our camera is officially dead and so we have not been able to take any pictures for a while. I do have some that I can download, I just haven't had the time. So we are doing very well. It's been cold and I love it. The girls are having so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa. They are getting spoiled. Everyone is growing by leaps and bounds. We love and miss everyone a lot. We are thinking of everyone during this holiday season. It will be so nice to be with family this year. We are truly blessed. I do not know how often I will post this month with everything going on, but for sure once we are settled in our new home I will start again. Merry Christmas to everyone!! We love you

We Live!!!!!

Hello Everyone! We live!!! We have survived the valley of the... Let us just say that we made it. The move was an awful experience as they took over 18 days to get our stuff here and then they charged an additional 1500$ without explaining that to us. This was a horrible experience but it was worth it to get out of Florida!!

We just got connected to the internet after having connection problems and modem problems with 2 different providers, thank heavens we are moving into our new house in a month or so. Hurray, we are buying a new house!!!

Well, we are grateful to be in Arizona closer to family and with a better job situation. We miss our friends terribly but are glad to see old ones out here.

Sorry no pictures at this time. But we will get some loaded soon. Everyone is healthy and happy minus the minor colds and sniffles from moving. Cecely is rolling over now and has a tooth. Aislynn and Bailey are getting into more trouble but are still too cute for words.

Busy Busy Busy!!!

A lot of the times during the day I will find that Aislynn and Bailey love to accessorize their baby sister. It may be a hat, or a bracelet maybe even a purse. Whatever it is you can be sure that it is stylish!! Cecely doesn't mind. She is very patient with her older sisters. She loves the attention.
"Maniac Maniac on the floor, and she dancing like she's never danced before". Yes Bailey loves to put on headbands. Here she is sporting the Flash dance style. Oh this takes me back to the good old 80's.
Here is Aislynn coloring. She loves to draw and color. She is quite good at it too. I will have to post some of her art work. She is so beautiful and funny.
Here is Cecely in her Bumbo chair. Her little legs are so chubby that every time we try and get her out she gets stuck. She loves this chair though. I can't help but want to pinch all those cute little rolls.
Aislynn and Bailey playing with Playdoh. Bailey got a really cool Playdoh set for her birthday. The love to sit and play and make funny creatures. It keeps them pretty occupied for a while anyways.


Okay, on to other news. Adam and I are moving in one week. Yes one week. We are madly trying to get all the packing and everything done. Our house is completely filled with boxes. I am sure the girls are wondering what is going on. Of course we have moved quite a bit in their young little lives. I, frankly am very sick of it. I am excited though to move to Tucson and be closer to EVERYONE!!! I never thought I would say this, but I am also looking forward to cooler weather. Yeah, who thought anyone would ever think Arizona had cooler weather. It does folks. We are still in the upper 80's with tons of humidity. This will probably be my last post for a while until we get settled in. We are driving starting on Halloween and will drive as much as we can. My wonderful mother in law is coming to drive with me and the girls. Adam will be driving his jeep out. We have a company that will haul our stuff there. I don't know if the girls really understand what is happening but I do know that they are excited to be with Grandma and Grandpa. It will be such a wonderful opportunity for them to get to know them. They will finally be able to have a good relationship with them. My parents will have the joy and the happiness that I have as I watch my children grow. We will miss all of our friends in Florida very much. We have met some incredible families. You know who you are. The Morgan family is number one on our list. It is sad and happy all at once. There has been a lot of good things happen to us in Florida. We were very blessed here.

Some Updates

Well, Cecely had her four month check up last week. She weighs 16 pounds 2 ounces. Yes she is a chunky monkey. She is 24 inches tall. She is short. She is very healthy and very very happy. She makes us laugh everyday. She is now on cereal twice a day. The Pediatrician told us to go ahead and put her on cereal. It has helped control her ravenous hunger!!
Here is her face after her first feeding. She loved it though. She is a very social eater. She needs to talk to you the whole time she eats. She also has to stick her thumb in her mouth after every bite and suck on it, then she is ready for more. Aislynn and Bailey like to help. SO needless to say after everyone has helped feed her, she needs a bath.
She also grabs the spoon and tries to stick it in her mouth. She loves to do this. She has a strong little grip and it becomes a tug of war between mommy and baby. She laughs and things it's so funny. I have to admit, it kind of is. The mess may not be all that fun to clean up, but her little personality is just so cute!!
This is right after her bath and time for bed. She is still a happy camper and ready to give big smiles. She loves her daddy and loves to see him when he comes home. I am usually feeding her cereal when he gets home from work, and she will hear his voice and then see him and her arms will start flapping and she will start screeching and laughing and looking at him. She can't run to dad like the other two girls can, but she can sure let him know she sees him and she needs some loves too.
This is Bailey's favorite outfit. It is daddy's hat and daddy's sock. She is a cowgirl!! I tried to get a pic of Aislynn but she ran away!!

We have been doing really well. Things have been really hectic and busy around here. Trying to keep up with the girls, and I caught a cold. I haven't been sick since January. At least now I am not pregnant and can take something for it. I have tried to not kiss on my girls, it's really hard though. Lots of sanitizer. We have the missionaries over for dinner tonight. We are also in the midst of a very huge decision in our lives. We have felt for some time now that we needed to move closer to family. Somewhere in the west, where the girls could get to know their grandparents and cousins and aunt's and uncles. We feel like we just don't get to see anyone and the expense of living in Florida has taken it's toll on us. We have been praying for a while to decide what we should do and where we should go. Out of the blue last week one of Adam's old friends in Tucson called and offered him a job. It's actually working for the same company he is working for now. Adam interned at Brown and Caldwell way back when he was going to the UofA. They are in need of someone there, and it would basically be a job transfer. My family lives there, I grew up in Tucson. We were thrilled. So now we are just trying to make it work, and waiting for some salary things. They should let him keep his same pay, which would work much better there, it's not near as expensive. So we are excited, but when it does happen it will be the end of October. Thinking about getting everything done is enough to make me want to pass out, but I know we will get it done.

Labor Day

Well, for our Labor Day weekend we decided to go and visit my brother in law (Adam's brother) and his wife and their beautiful baby. They live about 4 hours away. Now, 4 hours in the car would probably seem like a disaster with three kids under three. In fact it's enough to make some people pull their hair out at just the thought of doing this trip with three under three. I have to admit, I was a little worried. The kids were great. We had to do our potty breaks, and let the two older ones get out and walk around for a bit. Luckily we were in no huge hurry to get there. Clint was still at work and so was Jenna, so we took our time, no stress and had a great time. Cecely was a wonderful baby, she always is in the car. She rarely cries, unless of course hunger comes a calling. We thought we would buy her a toy that she could play with. It hooks on to her car seat and has some fun rattles and things that make noise. We were dead wrong. Turns out she just likes to sit and hang out and play with her fingers and suck her thumb. She also like looking at Aislynn and Bailey. They sing to her and smile and she laughs back. She hated the toy. She kept hitting it and getting mad and crying. As soon as we took it down she was fine.

So we finally got the Clint and Jenna's. Everyone had a very long day and the girls were ready for bed. That was a joke. We had them on the floor on sleeping bags. It took them a while to fall asleep. Then we it came our turn to go to bed in that same room, Bailey woke up and kept talking to me until two in the morning. SO Adam and I left the room and went to sleep on the couch, so she could get some sleep. She thought it was some sort of treat to have mom and dad in the room. She thought it was a mini sleep over and that she could talk to mom all night long. The next day which was Saturday we decided to go to the beach. Clint's mother in law owns a boat and so we went out on the boat with her and Clint and Aleigha and our family. Jenna had to work so she couldn't come with us. The above pictures are of us at the beach. We forgot our camera, so Clint took some of us. The only thing is is I have no pictures of Clint or Aleigha. She is such a doll baby. She just lays on the towel and talks and plays. She is about three months older than Cecely. She is such a good tempered baby. She smiles all the time. We had a great time. We were all pretty tired and fried by the end of the day. The girls did so well with such a long day. They loved the boat. We even got to see a dolphin.

We ended up going back home and the girls zonked right out for the night. No fuss from them. Cecely did really well. She loved being in her diaper at the beach. She also loved the boat, and just like the car does, it lulled her to sleep. We got up Sunday morning and enjoyed a relaxed morning. Uncle Clint helped Adam do some things with the car, including recharging our air, which was heaven sent. The trip up was a little hot because our air was going out. On the way home we had to turn the air down. We really enjoyed the trip. We especially loved seeing family. The girls can't stop talking about Uncle Clint and his boat and their baby cousin Aleigha. It's so nice to see family. That is by far the thing we miss the most about being here. I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Labor Day!!!

The Routine

When it comes to our house we try to have a routine about things. Now it doesn't always go as planned and what time we do it during the day isn't always the same but at least the kids know what we will do and they have come to love it. We have coloring time(above) we do arts and crafts. We play outside with chalk and washable paints (thank heavens for Crayola). We have reading time and music time. We love to learn our colors and numbers and how to write our names.
While we are doing all this Cecely is either on the floor or in her little jumper. My mother in law gave this to us when Bailey was a baby. She tended to be a little fussy, and this would usually do the trick. Well, Cecely loves to jump up and down and laugh and giggle. She is getting so big. She loves it!!
She is also practicing on how to roll over. She can do it, she just doesn't do it all the time. She has her friends in the corner cheering her on. She loves to talk to them and laugh. I know they are having the greatest conversations. I mean really who wouldn't love to talk to a hippo and frog?
So, the girls don't take naps anymore. They usually have a quiet time though, that is not so quiet. With them being in the same room I have come to realize that quiet just doesn't happen. So yesterday I went in to check on them and this is what I found. Aislynn was hiding in her dresser and Bailey was jumping on the bed. Notice that all the sheets have been pulled off and the mattress has been ripped from the bed. Books are everywhere and it is quite the disaster. Bailey must have noticed the look on my face when I walked in because she ran up to me and said " It's okay mom, everything is going to be alright".

We also go swimming in the morning before it gets too hot!! Notice my two cuties after a fun filled morning of swimming. We love our days together. Sometimes it can get pretty hectic, and things are rarely quiet, but we wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

My Monkeys!!

Here is our cute Peanut! She was just hanging out on the couch. She was basically talking to herself. She does that quite often if no one is there to entertain her. She usually has Aislynn or Bailey who are constantly playing with her. They do a good job of getting her toys and talking and singing to her.
She loves her tongue and of course her hands. When she isn't sucking her thumb she is sucking on her hand or sticking her tongue in and out. She makes cute little noises as she does it. She is a very happy baby and we get lots of compliments on her everywhere we go. We are so blessed to have her in our home.
As I said earlier, Bailey and Aislynn are very good at keeping her entertained while she is having some floor time. She eventually will get a little "over stimulated" from the girls and start grunting and whining. I am sure they will teach her so much. She is very blessed to have two great big sisters. I never had sisters. I have a great brother though. Still, I often wonder what it is like. I hope they will always love eachother. We will teach them that sisters are very special. I know because they are close in age there will be plenty of fighting over clothes, BOYS, dare I even say that word, and other things but deep down I know they will love each other very much.
This is after a very adventurous toddler day. Aislynn fell asleep mid sandwich. If you look towards her neck you will see the remnants of a sandwich. She had a busy day of birthday parties and swimming and cake and ice cream. What a great day!!!

We are doing well. It is very hot and very humid. It's too hot to take the girls outside after noon. We have fun crafts and things to do inside. The girls are all getting so big. Adam stays busy at work. He has lots of projects to keep him busy. We love and miss our friends and family very much. Hope every is enjoying their summer!! We are that is for sure.

The peanut has rolls

I can't help but take pictures of Cecely when she is sleeping! She is just so adorable. This is how we frequently find her. She can't get enough of her thumb. I mean isn't she just so cute!
She smiles really big and I was trying to get her to smile, but as soon as I put the camera up to her face she gave me this look like "what the heck mom". Oh well she is still so cute. I love this little outfit she has on. Before we even had kids we bought these adorable outfits. They are from "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" books by Eric Carle. We bought them in versatile colors so that they would fit a boy or girl. Aislynn never wore them and Bailey was born in the fall/winter so she didn't either. It's so nice to have new clothes even if people can't tell if she is a boy or girl.
This outfit I love too. I put it on her when she was about 4 weeks old and it was huge. I put it on now and it still a little big up on top, but now it barely buttons around her chubby legs. She is getting so big.
Bailey decided that she wanted to get into my makeup and make herself look like a cat. She was meowing and everything. I have to give her kudos for being so creative. She even did the whiskers on both sides.
Sometimes in Florida it is just too hot in the summer. Hot and humid. SO we decide to bring the outside play toys inside. We actually found this at Target for quite the bargain. It's sturdy enough for two toddlers and will hold up to the "Cecelynator" when she gets bigger. The only thing we can't bring in is the pool. But, at least the water stays cool for a while before the Florida sun heats it right up.

My laughs for the day

Everyday my girls do something that just makes me laugh. They are at such a great fun age. Somethings they say just blow me away. I am amazed at how smart they are. I try to remember every night the cute little things that they have said or done. I really should write these things down because then, when I go to blog them I sometimes forget. Here are some of them to give you a laugh for the day.....

To give you an intro into this story I will tell you the following: Here in Florida we have a huge problem with ants. They are everywhere. So when the girls eat their food sometimes they will drop some on the floor, like sandwiches, cheerios, stuff like that. So I tell them that we need to clean up the mess or else the ants will come and eat their food. The other day the girls where playing with their blocks and it was time to clean them up. I told them that we needed to clean them all up and Bailey, with a very serious look on her face says "momma we need to clean them up or else the ants will eat them". (who knows they might try)

A very dear friend of ours in our ward let us borrow a doll house that she has. She only has a son for now so it's not being used. The girls love it. It comes complete with furniture and dolls and babies and everything. It is wonderful. Well, on the fourth of July we were over at our Bishop's house for a party and Adam was chasing the girls up the stairs of the Bishop's house. In doing this he stubbed his toe and actually broke it. Instead of swearing, which probably would have happened if we were at our house, he just let out a huge cry of pain and carried on. So when we got home Bailey was playing with the dolls. She took the daddy doll and preceded to make him run up the stairs and said " oh ouch ahhhh my toe". Then she looked at Adam and said, "Daddy the daddy doll hurt his toe on the stairs". At that moment we looked at eachother and were so grateful that their wasn't a swear word that came in there somewhere.

The other night we were getting the girls ready for bed and I asked them which book they wanted to read. I proceeded to name a couple and Aislynn picked one that she liked. When I brought it down for her to take to our special reading spot she looked at the book and said, "um mamma we can't read this one, this book is not my special friend". I have no clue what this book did to her, but obviously she hasn't forgiven it yet.

For some reason lately the girls have really gotten into thinking that when they go poop it takes on some sort of shape. They are the ones that decided to do this together. Believe me, I really did not start this. So just to let you know big poops are daddy ones, little poops are babies. Well the other day Bailey went to the bathroom and she came out to me and said, "mom I went a lady bug poop". I had no idea what she meant and frankly I was very scared. So I went into the bathroom and looked in the toilet and lo and behold if her poop didn't look like a lady bug. I never thought as a parent that I would ever see shapes in the toilet caused by poop.

When I was at a Primary activity this Saturday Adam watched the girls for a couple of hours. When I came home he told me that while the girls where playing with the doll house they did something very funny. I guess one of the dolls did something very bad and Aislynn proceeded to say " You are not supposed to do that, that was very bad, you get to go to time out in the horsey house. The doll house comes with a horse stable and apparently that is a very good place for a time out.

There are so many more things that happen in our house everyday but of course I can't think of any right now, plus I need to make sure my house is still in tact. My girls make me laugh all the time. It is so wonderful. We are very blessed indeed.

Fun in the Sun

Saturday we decided to go to the beach. I had a Primary Activity that morning and after I got home we decided to pack up the girls and go swimming. It was a beautiful day. Hot and humid as usual but the water was gorgeous. It was warm and very calm. This is how Cecely spent most of the day at the beach. I took her down to the water and dipped her little feet in. It was really sunny so I tried to keep her in the shade. There was a nice breeze blowing, so she just laid down and does what she does best, sucking her thumb.
Bailey loves to dig and look for shells. She takes after her father in this regard. She is perfectly content digging all day. She does love the water, but the dirt interests her more.
Aislynn is my water baby. She loves the water. The waves do not scare her at all. She loves to float and put her face all the way in. She really loves it when big waves crash over her. Daddy taught her how to turn her body away from the waves, she is quite the pro in the water.

Here are my water babies. All three of them. I am sure if Cecely could get up and walk this is where she would want to be as well. It was such a great day at the beach. We found lots of beautiful shells and coral. The girls had a fabulous time. They were so tired afterwards. They fell asleep in the car. Cecely enjoyed herself too. She just took everything in. She even got sand in her peach fuzz of a head. I tried to get it out which turned out to be a baby massage on her head and she loved it. She just smiled and cooed the whole time. We love our beach days!!

My Big Girls

Ever since Cecely has been born I have noticed how my two older girls are getting so much bigger. Not just growing, but growing up. They can successfully go number one and two on the potty. They can pull their own pants on and off when they do go. They only thing I have to do is wipe their little bottoms. The can drink out of big girl cups. They can for the most part brush their teeth, with a little extra help from me. They pick out their outfits. They can do their puzzles and say their ABC's. They fold their arms and can follow us in prayers. In church they know that the Sacrament is "Jesus' bread and water". They can get up into their carseats and buckle (and unbuckle much to my dismay) their seat belts. This last Sunday I was cleaning up the Primary room and putting away the microphone and Aislynn had just come from Nursery. She saw I had the microphone and immediately took it and started singing into it "I am a Child of God". At night when they are tucked into bed they say "I love you Mom and Dad". I love you mucho is usually what they say. They can eat with spoons and forks. They can put their shoes on, and on the right feet no less. They give incredible hugs and kisses. They know when mom and dad are happy or sad. They love eachother. They play and fight so well. They are constantly asking, "what's that Mom? "what are you doing mom? "mom what are you eating"? That usually means that they want some of whatever I am eating. I remember not being able to wait for their first spoonfuls of rice cereal, their first step or word. I couldn't wait until they were potty trained or until they could tell me what they wanted or what hurt. Now, it seems like it all went to fast. They are growing up whether or not I want them to, it is happening. Aislynn came up to me and gave me a big hug and said "momma your my good friend". Bailey is so good with her little sister. Aislynn is too, but she tends to be a little more rough with her. Bailey will stroke her head and talk to her. She brings her toys. Cecely already loves her sisters. She gives them big smiles and talks to them. I see Cecely getting bigger. She laughs and smiles. She coo's and has some great fat rolls. I almost just want to breathe in her babyness. I know before long it will be gone too. I am very proud of my little girls. I love the fact that they are growing up to be little girls. They test me to my limits and fill my heart with overwhelming joy. I am in awe of them everyday. Here's to my big girls. Momma loves you.

Two month checkup for the Peanut!!!

Well the Peanut had her two month appointment yesterday. She passed with flying colors. She is 22 inches long. She is a shorty. That doesn't suprise me though all of my children have been short. I am not a giant you know. She is 12 pounds 9 ounces. She is a chunky monkey. I love it. There is nothing cuter than a rollie pollie baby. She smiles and coos. She is such a happy baby. She loves to listen to music and she loves her sisters. No matter how rough they can sometimes be with her she will still give them a great big smile. She loves it when her daddy comes home and he can spend some time with her. The proof is in the last picture. She had to get five shots yesterday. Three in one leg and two in the other. It was hard for mommy. No matter how many times you do this, it never becomes easy. In Utah, our pediatrician had a couple of nurses that would come in and each had a needle and they would get it over with in one shot. However here there was just one nurse so it was five pokes one right after the other. She did okay though. She was a trooper. She ate at eight last night and went to bed at around 10. I tried to feed her before she went down but she wouldn't have it. She slept until 8:00 this morning. I could not believe it.

She is growing by leaps and bounds. She is a wonderful baby and so much fun to be around. Her sisters love her and love to give her big hugs and kisses everyday. Our lives seem to be getting back to normal again. Whatever normal is. The girls no longer take naps. They just play the whole time and Bailey had another "playing in the poop" episode. She hasn't done it for so long. They end up falling asleep on the couch around 3:30 or become so angry and tired and frustrated at eachother that it becomes like a wrestling match. I have realized that I have more children than arms. Cecely often gets interrupted in feedings by mama having to discipline someone, or break up a fight, or kiss a boo boo. Thank heavens she is a patient baby for the most part. We miss our friends and family. We wish you could be here with us. I hate the fact that my children are growing up with out any family around. New Do's Pretty Princess

As you can see at our house we had a family hair cut day. Coraly, who is one of our dear friends and a member of our ward, just finished beauty school and volunteered to come over and give us all haircuts. We decided to go a little shorter for Bailey. She has such beautiful curls, but they can get a bit unruly at times. She has also never had her hair actually cut, just her bangs. So we went shorter and she looks beautiful. She loves her hair and was very pampered. Coraly blow dried it and gave her a beautiful clip to put in it. She did very well and was a good pampered princess. Aislynn got her hair trimmed and also layered on the sides to keep it out of her face. She has such beautiful straight hair. The color is so beautiful. She loved it as well and was a very good and beautiful princess. Both got star treatment and beautiful clips. Coraly did an excellent job and was so good with the girls. The last picture is to show all of you who don't believe me.... I have a thumbsucker on my hands. She has done this since the womb. We have the ultra sound pictures to prove it. We try and pull her hand out of her mouth and give her the binkie, it only works on occasion. She still goes for it when she sleeps. It's not all the time, but still. We are doing really well. The girls are growing like weeds. The older girls love to sing and dance and play make believe. They have such great imaginations. Cecely is growing like a weed and has managed to let us sleep most of the night now. Who knows if it will become a habit or not but we are enjoying it while we can. Love to you all!!!!

Happy 4th of July

Well we had a busy day for the 4th of July. We started off our day by going to a Flag raising ceremony at the church and a pancake breakfast. That started at 8:00. After that we took our little family to a place called Dubois Park. They have a lagoon there that is perfect for the girls to swim in. There are no waves so the girls can wade out there and play all they want. It was a bit crowded but worth it. It was a hot sunny day. It has been raining a lot here, which is great we need the rain, but you have to choose your activities very wisely.
This is how Cecely spent most of the trip. She was relaxed and loving the big chair. There was a slight breeze that came through so she was set. We dunked her feet in the water to see if she would wake up but she was out like a light. What a life....
Here is the lagoon. It was really fun. We sat next to a couple who had a little girl and boy. They were so nice. They shared juice and toys with the girls.
After a day in the sun the girls took a breather. They sat in the nice shade and some drinks and snacks. Of course the break doesn't last long and they are out again in the sun ready for some more water.
Here is our beautiful Cecely. This was her outfit yesterday. I bought these great headbands off of ebay. They really don't sale headbands here in Florida so I bought these off line. They are made by a lady in Utah. They are big and obnoxious but I love them. We had a great time at the beach. The girls loved it. After that we came home and got showers and then we were off to the Bishop's house for a barbeque and fireworks. We had a wonderful 4th. We missed our friends and family so much. We hope you all had a wonderful day. I do feel very blessed to live in such a great country. I am so grateful that my children have the same wonderful opportunity.
