Well, the 23rd of September of 2004 something very special happened. We brought into this world an incredible little girl. We had been trying to have children for almost five years. We had prayed and prayed that we would be able to conceive. It was a long process. It was heartbreaking, but Adam and I both knew that we would have children one day. We were blessed to adopt our beautiful little Aislynn. Four months and a half months later came our beautiful little Bailey. I am very blessed to have the best of both worlds. I know what it is like to adopt a baby. I know what it is like to hold a baby that did not come from me, and love her to the ends of the world and back. I am so blessed to have known Julie(Aislynn's birthmother) and to feel her love for this baby that she so unselfishly gave to us. I also know what it is like to carry a baby in my body. To feel it's movement. To feel each kick, hiccup, each little push. To know and understand it's little personality before it even enters this world. To love something before you even hold it. I truly believe that Bailey and Aislynn were inseparable in Heaven. I believe that their sweet spirits could not stand the thought of being without each other. They have many things to accomplish here on this earth together. Though they may fight now, and have the problem of sharing which may go on for years, they are sisters. Not just sisters here on this earth, but in Heaven. I feel very blessed Bailey to be your mommy. Your sweet spirit and fiery personality bring me such joy. You stand up for your sisters, you love them and you love doing things for them. I cannot believe you came to us four years ago. I love you my Bailey Boo. You and your sisters are constant reminders that miracles do happen, that our Heavenly Father loves us so much and that families are eternal.

That is such a great post, I love the slide show! Happy 4th Birthday Bailey!
Good grief... I cannot believe it's been four years already. I remember Ethan and I coming to and from the hospital to see you guys a few times when you went in to have Bailey. She is such a hoot. Seeing the pictures of them as little ones made me totally nostalgic because that's how I knew them! Ethan and I totally plan to come see you guys when we are in Phoenix this December so we'll be in touch about making plans for a fun get together. We miss you guys so much!!
Happy Birthday, Bailey!
Amen!
