Rub-a-dub-dub three toddlers in a tub!!

Well, can you see that we just have too much fun over at our house!!! This is Aislynn's and Bailey's very best friend Kyla. Cori and Pete(Kyla's parents) are great friends of ours, and they watched our kiddos while we went to the movies, and then we watched cutie Kyla for them. After a fun time outside in the dirt it was bath time. Way too much fun for these girls. Of course more water ended up on the floor than in the tub, but hey that is what happens every bath time. They are all such dolls!!!
Kyla and Bailey are the tan ones on the end, and then we have the oreo filling which would be Aislynn, my little white girl!!! There was room to spread out, but it is more fun to sit really close together and wash each others backs and hair!!!!
Sweet Kyla!!!
Aislynn was done, and so Bailey and Kyla played together. The whole toy box was of course in the bath tub.....
Too much fun. My pants were completely soaked after this, but that is the way it always is. Bailey and Aislynn still ask for Kyla every time we get into the tub!! Too much fun for these little cuties!!!

We are doing very well. Most of you know that Adam had his eye surgery two weeks ago. He is healing very nicely and his doctor is very impressed with his sight. He still has to take it easy, but it is getting better. He also got a raise at work, which is nice. They are finally taking notice at what an incredible worker he is. I am loving my calling. It keeps me on my toes, but the children in our ward are so incredible. I love who I work with as well. We got our first hurricane of the season. Don't worry it didn't directly hit us. We got lots of good rain and wind and thunderstorms though. It was nice... We love all of you and miss you greatly......

Where did the water go?

Okay, so we have all seen that commercial where the little toddler goes to the beach with his parents, and as soon as he gets into the water, the water disappears and you see him waddling off with a diaper that looks exactly like THIS!!! So, I ask the question, "Where did the water go?"
The girls got these two big tubs full of blocks for Christmas. They love to play with the blocks but they love to put them on their heads and play bumper cars too. Oh, it is a fun game to bonk heads with these on, and nobody gets hurt. I am just waiting for the day when the tubs get too small and I have to pry them off of their heads!!!
Bailey looked just like a duck. She has a little more behind than Aislynn so instead of sagging it just kind of pooched out and made her look like a duck, she even had the waddle!!!!
Such a supermodel pose. Pouty lips and all!!!
It's so fun to watch Aislynn float up because her diaper is so big!! She thought it was hilarious. We did too. Oh, it is so much fun with these girls. I wish you all could spend a day with us!!

Belated Birthday!!

Okay, so I know Aislynn's birthday was on the fifth. Yes, these pictures are long overdue. I promise we are all still living, and I have lots of pictures to display. So forgive me!!! Here is Aislynn deciding whether or not she likes her cake!! She decided "no, it's yucky mama". What child doesn't like cake??
We had a fishy party. It's so hot here we decided to have a "little pool party". Here are just some of the gifts. We gave out little party favors. The kids had a great time
We invited all of her little friends to come and have a party!! I bought two little toddler pools, filled those up and turned on the sprinklers. This would be Aislynn and Bailey playing.
Bailey obviously enjoyed the cake, finger licking good!!!
Aislynn's friends and sissy!! All in all everything was wonderful. Happy Birthday my sweet little tooty!!! I cannot believe you are two years old!!! We love you and cannot imagine life without you. What a wonderful two years it has been. You have changed our lives immensely.

There will be more pictures I promise. Life has been crazy with my new calling. It is great though and I love it. The girls are getting so big. They are both sick right now. Cori(who is the Primary President) has a little girl about the same age as Bailey. She is such a great friend and we do a lot together. We decided to take the girls to a place close by called "Play Mobile". It's this huge toy store that has a huge castle with different rooms and the kids can play with all the toys and just run around and have a great time. Another plus is that it is air conditioned. Well of course there are millions of kids that play with those toys, not a place to go if you are a germafobe!!! Kyla(Cori's little girl) came down with a double ear infection and my girls both got colds. I did too. So we are trying to get better. Adam is busy with work and church callings!. We are doing very well though. We love and miss our family and friends. I will post more pictures I promise. I still have Easter pictures and more birthday pictures. Oh well better late than never right??

Super Kids!!!!!

Instead of wanting to be pretty and wear her princess skirt, Bailey would rather use it as a cape and be a super hero. She hates it when I put the skirt around her waste. She will rip it off and put it around her neck and run around the house really fast. I think she will be my tom boy!!
This is the "favorite cabinet". It has such neat plastic bowls that can be used as hats. On occasion both girls will try and sit inside the bowls. It's okay for Aislynn because she has a smaller back side and it's easier for her to get out of the bowl, but Bailey on the other hand tends to get stuck in them and looks like a beetle. Of course she loves it and thinks it so funny!! Aislynn thinks they are beautiful hats, and she will pretend to feed her babies and say"Mamma I am cooking"...

This is Lalie. She is a very good friend of Aislynn's and Bailey's. She is in our ward and in nursery with the girls. We have playdates over here at our house and then at her house too. It's great for the girls and great for mom, adult interaction is a must!!!
Here is another picture of beautiful Lalie.
Bailey has started to tackle Aislynn. Even though they weigh the same, Aislynn is so petite and Bailey.... well she is just Bailey. I have to save the tooter(that's Aislynn's nickname). She will yell out"Mamma help me"!!! Bailey laughs and says"tickle tickle". She thinks she is tickling sissy. So much fun. I love them both. They make me laugh everyday.

My apologies that I haven't blogged more frequently. We have been so busy at our house. I have been called to be the first counselor in the Primary Presidency. Such an incredible calling. Very humbling for me. I love children and feel so blessed that I have been called to be around these choice spirits. I am also a visiting teaching supervisor. Our ward in Florida is incredible. There is so much work for everyone. It is so different than other wards we have been in. We have also been battling sickness as well. I have had to have two root canals on teeth that supposedly already had root canals done. I had an absess under one and a major infection in the other. So they put me on major antibiotics. Adam had some neck problems and then lost his contact and of course because he has had a corneal transplant it's not like he can just go in and get another contact. It is a major thing. He has had to go many Dr. appts and found out he needs another corneal transplant. He has had to function on just one contact. Poor guy. Aislynn got sick and we had to take her to the Dr. today. She got this cold that has been going around, and just couldnt seem to kick it. So we took her in today. She is such a trooper though. She is still so happy even when she is sick. What a blessing. We are doing well though and feel very blessed to be here. We love and miss all of our family and friends. We do wish we could be closer. Sometimes it is hard because we feel like we are on the other end of the world. We know though that this is where the Lord wants us and we feel like we are beginning to see why we need to be here. I will try to post more often!! We love you all...

Such good little helpers!!!

Daddy decided to wash Mommy's car!!! Imagine Mommy's suprise when she walked outside and saw two other little happy helpers!!! Bubbles are so much fun.......
Especially when you can rub them all over the van!! Such a great helper. It's like finger painting. The good thing is, is I don't have to worry about the mess. This is great.
Bailey decided to help too. She decided to use the sponge though instead of her hands. She doesn't really like to get things on her hands. She hates to be dirty.
I caught this shot.... They were just hanging out talking on the couch drinking their sippies. They were having a conversation and kind of seemed annoyed that I would interrupt such an important gossip session.
More cleaning... Such big girls.

If they could only stay little.........

Aislynn has become absolutely fascinated with cheese. Not so much the eating of it, but licking it and sticking it to her belly. She loves it. She yells for me to look at her and just smiles and laughs and says"cheese stuck". Yes she is so funny I crack up several times a day!!!
Oh I do miss the days when they were so little you could just give them baths in the sink. Well those days are back!!! My sink is big enough to bathe them in. Not that I make a habit of it, but let me tell you when they have just torn apart a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and smeared it all over, a quick dip in the sink and spray with the sprayer is so easy!!!
Our little dainty princess has to have her washcloth. She also needs to clean the sink while she bathes. She will look at me and say "Mamma cleaning". Lets just hope those cleaning habits continue on into teenage years.
We have had these little horses for almost a year. Aislynn has now found this complete love for them. She plays with them and makes them eat make believe food, and even puts them to bed. In this picture they were eating off of the table. '"umm good food. Horsey eating" She has quite the imagination. She then has a little cup that she lets the horsey drink from. I have to admit she is very gentle and loving with them. It's so incredible how their little minds work.
Here is our big grin Bailey. She is so funny. She loves to play whatever sissy is playing. She will copy her movements and actions. She will also say whatever words Aislynn is saying. She speaks really well. They are both beautiful and funny. I love them and am so greatful I can be home and see these beautiful babies growing into beautiful little girls.

A Toddler's Day!!

A toddler's day is filled with so many fun and exciting things!!! Some of them not so exciting for mom though. Now they love to get into everything together! They are double trouble. They even help eachother out if one of them cannot finish the task at hand!. Here they both are after their bath. Mom was in the bathroom cleaning up the two inches of water on the floor after the splashing war and lo and behold look what I caught them doing. They were taking all of the movies out of their cases. Ummm Bailey seems to have a guilty look on her face....
We also play dress ups. This of course is a grass skirt, Aislynn things it is better as a beautiful green wig. She loves to swing her hair from side to side and flip it with her hand. She is quite the girly girl....
In our backyard we have a big dirt pit that was left after one of our trees was destroyed in the last hurricane. It now serves as a semi sand pit. The dirt of course is black, so we get baths everytime we play in it. This is also the dirt that Bailey thinks is so nutritious.
Here would be a pile of clean clothes mom was folding. Bailey things that it serves as her recliner. What recliner would be complete without a good book inside it. I caught her sitting in here reading. She put the pillow in it behind her back. She knows what comfort is....
AWWWW here we have our beautiful blushing bride. This is also a skirt. A tutu. Aislynn prefers to wear it on her head and loves to walk into things. Such a busy day for little bodies. Of course this isn't even half of what we do during the day. Fun Fun Fun.

Just Us....

This is the last night that we were at my parents house. Ma maw and Papa bought them these adorable pajamas!!! Boy did they have fun. Oh, and here is a picture of Shotzey, the poor dog that got completely mauled by the girls the whole week.
UUMMM yes this would be dirt around Bailey's mouth. She loves dirt, and sand. I am suprised that there is any sand left after we leave the beach. She loves to dip whatever food we are eating in the sand.
Aislynn and Papa.
Bailey and Mamaw.
Aislynn mutilating her peanut butter and jelly sandwich. There is no other way to eat it. The messier the better.

More Wedding!!

Well, as promised here are more of the wedding pictures. Sorry I have been so slow in getting these posted. We had a wonderful visit from Aunt Heather(Adam's sister) and of course we had a wonderful time, the girls loved it. More pictures of that event to come. The girls loved being with Ma-maw and papa. Here is a pic of Aislynn with my mom. Down below are the cute bride and groom kissing. You will also see my dad with Aislynn eating some popcorn which just happens to be one of her favorite treats. There were plenty of cousins to play with there. Josh and Bobbi's little girl was darling and she is the one sitting on the ground with Aislynn and Bailey. You know it is so sad that we just don't get to see my family that often, or anyone for that matter now that we live on the edge of the earth. However we do love all of you and miss you terribly. I will try and do better to post pictures of our family. I do take them, it's just sitting down and actually writing or posting that just doesn't seem to happen. Well, enough said I will try and do better.

Uncle Brock and Aunt Alison

Yes, can you believe it Uncle Brock got married!!!! His beautiful wife's name is Aunt Alison. They had a beautiful wedding at Uncle Glen and Aunt Rosalene's house in Phoenix Arizona. It was a beautiful wedding, it was so nice to see so much family. We are excited to have her in our family and Aislynn and Bailey are excited to have another Aunt. The weather was fantastic, and the food and company was incredible.
Here is Uncle Brock with Aislynn. She loves him. He is very good with her, and makes her laugh which isn't that hard to do. The cute couple was so busy that day, so we had to try and sneak some pictures in every now and then.
The girls had a blast playing with the cousins and trying to jump into the swimming pool. They wanted a bath. So mom,dad and grandma had fun trying to play life guard and have no swimming babies.
Sweet, beautiful Bailey. She really loved watching the cousins play Duck duck goose. She wanted to get right in and play.
Here is our beautiful Aislynn, who by the way isn't camera shy at all. She loves posing for the camera.

The wedding was beautiful. We flew down. It was nice for the girls to get some time with grandma(ma maw) and grandpa(pa pa). Those moments are to few and far between. We ended up missing our flight due to a flat tire, so we flew out the next day. Five hours is hard for toddlers, but we made it. I ended up loosing my wallet and then luckily someone found it. We had a wonderful time there, we are so glad that Alison is in our family now. She is such a wonderful person. Her family was very kind and very easy to talk to. The girls loved dressing up in the dresses that ma maw bought for them. They kept them clean for the most part. My parents have a dog that the girls just fell in love with named Schotzey. They played with her and chased her around the house. She was a good sport about the whole thing. Even after we arrived back home in Florida they would call for her. Aislynn would call for PaPa when she was sad or mad at mom and dad. There are many many pictures so I will have to split them up. It was a wonderful time.
